The presentation is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel in Bloomington, MN.
When budgets tighten, engineers are challenged to find ways to reduce manufacturing costs. Although the focus in an SMT process is typically on identifying less expensive materials and reducing scrap, the efficient operation of a reflow oven is often overlooked.
The presentation will highlight methods that can be used to lower energy costs of a reflow oven while maintaining profiles that are within the solder manufacturer’s specifications.
