In 2009, BTU successfully launched a new modular platform for CdTe thermal processing steps. The Perseas™ product platform features the Perseas™ CF for the Contact Formation and the Perseas™ CA for Chlorine Anneal applications with maximum operating temperatures of 300°C and 600°C respectively. Each of the tools is scalable for R&D, pilot, and volume production-sized operations with a maximum throughput of up to 100 panels per hour.  The platform can handle glass substrates of up to 1.3 m in width.
