Operations during Coronavirus Pandemic

BTU International and Bruce Technologies are continuously monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and impact to our business, customers and suppliers. We are following all mandated as well as voluntary guidelines for the safety of our employees, customers and suppliers. Travel and face-to-face interactions have been discouraged or restricted in many countries. Due to these restrictions, our onsite field support may be limited or not available. We provide the following update on our operations affected:

United States Operations – Billerica, Massachusetts

The order on March 24th by the State of Massachusetts for non-essential business to close was lifted on May 18th for manufacturing and on May 25th for office workers, while complying with all COVID-19 workplace safety standards. BTU/Bruce call centers for product sales, parts sales and 24/7 technical support are operational. Onsite face-to-face restrictions are in force limiting onsite service requests.

Europe Operations – United Kingdom

BTU’s European operations are following all country specific mandates and restrictions. Call centers for product sales, parts sales and 24/7 technical support remain operational. Onsite face-to-face restrictions are in force limiting onsite service requests. Please check with your regional sales or service contacts for up to date information.

China Operations – Shanghai, PRC

BTU’s Shanghai operations are back to full capacity with little disruption. Restrictions due to COVID-19 within the Peoples Republic of China are easing. All services including production of our reflow ovens are at normal levels.
