BTU International Receives Best Presentation Award from SMTA China for “Lowering Your Reflow Cost”

NORTH BILLERICA, Mass., May 12, 2011 — BTU International, Inc., a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment and processes to the alternative energy and electronics manufacturing markets, announced that Fred Dimock, BTU’s manager of process technology, received the Best Presentation Award at the SMTA China East 2011 award presentation ceremony. Dimock’s presentation, titled “Lowering Your Reflow Cost,” was presented at a May 12, 2011 ceremony.

The nearly hour-long oral presentation, both written and presented by Dimock, highlighted a variety of methods and tools that can be used to lower energy costs of the reflow oven while maintaining profiles that are within the solder manufacturer’s reflow specifications.
