BTU International to Showcase High-Reliability Reflow Solutions at SMTA Space Coast

WESTFORD, Mass., October 19, 2026 – BTU International, a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the electronics manufacturing and semiconductor packaging markets, will showcase its high-reliability reflow solutions at the SMTA Space Coast Expo and Technical Forum, taking place November 11 at the Melbourne Auditorium in Melbourne, Florida.

The company will highlight its Aurora Vacuum reflow technology, designed to support large-board, high-throughput applications where process consistency, thermal uniformity and void reduction are critical. The Aurora Vacuum provides a high-performance reflow solution for demanding electronics manufacturing applications, combining high throughput with vacuum processing designed to minimize solder voiding. Reduced voiding can be particularly important for high-reliability assemblies, where solder-joint integrity and thermal performance are essential to long-term product reliability.

In addition to its vacuum reflow capabilities, BTU will highlight the process control and thermal performance that support its reflow solutions. Closed-loop convection control helps maintain consistent process conditions, while thermal uniformity across the work area supports repeatable soldering results across challenging board configurations and production volumes.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet with Christian Ellis, BTU thermal process expert, who will be available at the event to discuss thermal processing challenges and how reflow technology can be optimized for demanding applications.

“High-reliability electronics manufacturers are increasingly looking for thermal processing solutions that can deliver both throughput and consistent, repeatable results,” said Bob Bouchard, Director of Sales & Marketing. “At SMTA Space Coast, we look forward to discussing how vacuum reflow, precise convection control and strong thermal uniformity can help manufacturers address the challenges associated with large and complex assemblies.”

BTU invites electronics manufacturing professionals attending the SMTA Space Coast Expo and Technical Forum to visit with the company to learn more about its reflow technologies and discuss specific thermal processing requirements with its team.
