Designed for the Operators, Maintenance Technicians and Engineers responsible for furnace operation and maintenance. The subjects include: Furnace Safety, Furnace Concepts, Construction and Layout, Atmosphere Control, Furnace Settings and Control, System Operation, Software Description, Maintenance and Troubleshooting. Conducted over 3 days (Monday through Wednesday of the scheduled week) with approximately 6 hours of hands-on maintenance instruction and approximately 6 hours of hands-on software instructions. The Furnace Operation and Maintenance courses are prerequisite to the Advanced Software and System Calibration Courses.

Designed for the Repair Technician and Engineers responsible for furnace maintenance. The subjects include: System Calibration, Recipes, Data Definition and Collection, Configuration Control, and User Security of the furnace. Conducted over 2 days (Thursday and Friday following the Operations and Maintenance Courses ) with approximately 8 hours of hands-on maintenance instruction and approximately 8 hours of hands-on software instructions.

Designed for all users of the, Microsoft Windows based, WINCON© furnace controller software. Discussed are the drop-down menu functions including: Furnace Monitor, Recipe Editor, Automatic Recipe Execution (Scheduling), Data Definition and Collection, Furnace Profiling and Reports, Event Definition and Annunciation, User Security, and System Software to Hardware Configuration. It is assumed that all enrollees will be Windows knowledgeable. The course is conducted over 1 day and consists of demonstration and practice in the computer lab.
