BTU Director of Sales – Americas to Participate in Industry 4.0 Panel Discussion at SMTAI
Optimizing Oven Dynamics – The Next Step in Smart Factory Automation
NORTH BILLERICA, Mass., September 15, 2017 — BTU International, Inc., a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the electronics manufacturing market, is pleased to announce that Paul Lancaster, Director of Sales – Americas, will participate in a panel discussion during SMTA International. The panel discussion, entitled, “Optimizing Oven Dynamics – The Next Step in Smart Factory Automation,” is schedule to take place Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
Controlling the thermal process has never been more critical as board geometries continue to shrink and the number of coating and materials increases. Extracting and translating oven data into ‘smart factory’ software systems is a critical element. This panel will discuss these issues and how operators can make best use of current equipment and plan for future requirements.
The panel discussions will be held at the Show Floor Forum and it will be video recorded for broadcast later in the day.
Lancaster joined BTU in 2006 and has been active with the company’s business development efforts for the alternative energy markets. Prior to joining BTU, Lancaster was director of sales at a leading AOI company in the electronics SMT market. Lancaster holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
