Upgrading your Wincon software not only allows users to take advantage of new features but avoids unplanned downtime when an older obsolete control board fails.

Wincon™ is an advanced windows-based software system for controlling the operation of BTU thermal processing equipment. Wincon combines both the simplicity of a graphical user interface with powerful diagnostic and analytical tools. Wincon is used in conjunction with BTU’s proprietary INTELLIMAX™ control board on all BTU systems; including the Pyramax and Aurora families of convection reflow ovens.

Upgrading your Wincon software not only allows users to take advantage of new features but avoids unplanned downtime when an older obsolete control board fails.

The Intellimax2 features faster core components resulting in significant performance improvements. Intelligent on-board data protection, faster analog sampling speeds and fast software downloads minimizes downtime.

What to expect

  • Description: Depending on existing furnace confi guration customer may get a new control board, a PC and new WINCON software.
  • Procedure: The new PC will come pre-confi gured for the customers unit/confi guration including all recipes and settings.
  • Installation: BTU service will visit customer site to install new control board, change PC and power up newly confi gured oven. Installer will provide training on new features while onsite.
  • Downtime: 2 to 4 hours.
  • Requalification: Oven will not need to be fully requalifi ed. BTU service will run a baseline profi le before and after upgrade.
