For reflow ovens with or without flux management, the Flux Trap Lip Vent provides a way to collect flux, both keeping it from dripping on product and clogging facility exhaust.

The flux trap is made to be easily cleaned with removable panels and drip tray. This upgrade reduces maintenance on facility exhaust, and increases production yield.

What to expect

  • Description: Customer will get new lip vent assemblies for entrance and exit of oven.
  • Procedure: BTU will ship new lip vent assemblies to the customer. The old lip vent assemblies must be removed and replaced with the new assemblies. The procedure is mechanical only and does not involved electrical or controls changes.
  • Installation: Upgrade can be performed by customer or BTU Field Service can be contracted to install.
  • Downtime: 2 to 4 hours.
  • Requalification: Requalifi cation is not required.
