Add Redundant Process Monitoring and Board-Level Traceability to Your Reflow Oven
Profile Guardian is a redundant process monitoring system that pairs a dedicated thermocouple probe at product height with integrated software to continuously monitor temperature deviation from your established baseline — completely independent from the oven's control thermocouples.
Fully integrated with the Wincon™ control system, Profile Guardian gives process engineers real-time visibility into oven performance and provides the board-level traceability increasingly required by major OEM and EMS customers. If your existing oven does not have Profile Guardian, it can be added through a BTU-performed upgrade.

Board-Level Traceability for OEM, EMS, and Industry 4.0 Requirements
When paired with a barcode reader, Profile Guardian delivers full board-level traceability — associating each board's unique identifier with the actual thermal data recorded during its reflow pass. This capability is a requirement for many large OEM and EMS customers and is a core component of Industry 4.0 implementation. Profile Guardian data can be included in host communications (MES) directly from the oven.
Profile Guardian Is Fully Integrated with Wincon
Profile Guardian is not a standalone add-on — it is natively integrated with the Wincon™ reflow oven control system. This means the monitor is always aware of oven state: recipe changes, energy savings modes, and transitions into or out of standby are all accounted for automatically, eliminating false alarms and ensuring data integrity across every production run. Baseline data is stored with each recipe, so when a recipe is recalled, its associated Profile Guardian limits and historical baseline are recalled alongside it.
Charts within the Wincon GUI provide simple, at-a-glance data visualization showing the baseline, actuals, recipe set points, current status, and any tracked deviations — giving process engineers the information they need without leaving the oven control interface.
